Stefan Popov

Brief Bio

I am a Staff AI Research Scientist at Meta Superintelligence Labs, working on generative AI research and products. Before this, I worked at Google DeepMind on generative AI; at Google Research on 3D deep learning and dataset annotation; and at Google on the search engine. I was a postdoctoral researcher at INRIA (France), working on Monte Carlo rendering techniques, image-based rendering, and vector graphics. I completed my PhD at Saarland University (Germany), where I worked on real-time ray tracing and global illumination for commodity hardware.
